Release: VMware ThinApp 4.7.3

VMware last week released version 4.7.3. of its application virtualization product ThinApp. This version is the follow up of version 4.7.2. which wasreleased in July this year. Release: VMware ThinApp 4.7.2

Last week VMware ThinApp Blog published a post announcing a minor release of ThinApp: 4.7.2. According to the original post this release includes:   A mechanism for updating ThinApp packages in Horizon Application Manager – If a new version of ThinApp packages is placed on the Horizon Repository, Horizon reads the new VersionID parameter built into the package and differentiates this package from the prior one,  also preserves application entitlements and desktop shortcuts. Release: VMware ThinApp 4.7.1

In April VMware released a minor upgrade for ThinApp 4.7, its application virtualization solution. This release is worth to be reported because fixes a problem running multiple Office 2010 licensing services. Quoting from VMware ThinApp Blog: .. you’re now able to run virtualized Project 2010 while Office 2010 being natively installed ..
